at maison elle, safety is considered throughout every stage of design and production
sleepy elle has been tested to applicable australian toy safety requirements under as/nzs iso 8124 and is made using gots-certified organic cotton and oeko-tex® standard 100 certified materials
materials and construction
the outer is crafted from soft breathable organic cotton selected for everyday contact with delicate baby skin
inside sleepy elle’s head, a gentle enclosed rattle is surrounded by a lightweight blend of natural kapok fibre and recycled cotton chosen to help maintain her shape while remaining soft and comforting to hold
as each sleepy elle is handmade, slight variations may occur and form part of the individual character of the product
before each use
carefully inspect sleepy elle for signs of wear loose threads loose stitching loose labels fabric damage or other defects
remove any loose fibres strings or debris that may develop through normal use
if any stitching thread fabric label or component becomes loose or damaged discontinue use immediately
safe sleep guidance
sleepy elle is designed as a comfort object and should always be used in accordance with current safe sleep recommendations
do not leave sleepy elle in a cot or sleep space with an infant under 7 months of age
for infants under 7 months use only under direct adult supervision
do not place sleepy elle in a cot or sleep space until your child can roll independently and comfortably move objects away from their face
care tag
sleepy elle includes a care tag designed to assist with naming for daycare childcare and travel
if the care tag becomes loose damaged or detached discontinue use until it has been safely removed or repaired
