Safety Information

At Maison Elle, safety is considered throughout every stage of design and production.

Sleepy Elle has been tested to applicable Australian toy safety requirements and is made using GOTS-certified organic cotton and OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified materials.

Compliance Standard: AS/NZS ISO 8124

As each Sleepy Elle is handmade, slight variations may occur and are part of the character of the product.

Before each use, carefully inspect the product for signs of wear, loose threads, loose stitching, loose labels, fabric damage or other defects.

Inspect regularly and remove any loose fibres, strings or debris that may develop through normal use. If any stitching, thread, fabric or component becomes loose or damaged, discontinue use immediately.

Sleepy Elle is designed as a comfort object and should always be used in accordance with current safe sleep recommendations.

Do not leave in a cot with an infant under 7 months of age.

For infants under 7 months, use only under direct adult supervision. Do not place Sleepy Elle in a cot or sleep space until your child can roll independently and comfortably move objects away from their face.

Sleepy Elle includes a care tag designed to assist with naming for daycare, childcare and travel. If the care tag becomes loose, damaged or detached, discontinue use until it has been safely removed or repaired.

Every Sleepy Elle has been thoughtfully developed with comfort, quality and everyday family life in mind.
