We’d only tried one other comforter before this and it never really stuck but we needed something to fill the gap after taking our baby’s dummy away. The Maison Elle Sleep Softie was completely different: she took to it straight away, which surprised me given how attached she’d been to her dummy. The organic cotton fabric is genuinely so soft - noticeably softer and more lightweight than the other comforter we’d tried and easy for her little hands to grip, which I think is why she bonded with it so quickly.

It’s become part of our settling routine both at home in the cot and out and about in the pram, and you can tell every detail was thoughtfully designed with how a comforter actually gets held, carried and loved day to day. It also arrived in the sweetest keepsake suitcase, which we’re already planning to keep for her first treasures long after she’s outgrown the Softie itself. Highly recommend if you’re after a genuinely soft, well-made comforter your baby will actually bond with - especially if you’re navigating a dummy transition.

What a beautiful comforter! As a sleep consultant, I appreciate the value of a comforter and am always recommending to clients to introduce one to their babies.
